Many people were given special awards on Australia Day.

• Rob Hirst from the band "Midnight Oil" got an award.
• Annastacia Palaszczuk, a leader from Queensland, was given an award for her work during COVID-19.
• Cathy Freeman, a famous runner, was also honored.
